   If we want these dedicated politicians to succeed we have to mobilise ourselves and stand up to the media.

   Here’s an example today, Dennis Skinner tells the BBC interviewer to stop spinning and report what he says:

   Yes I agree.
   Tariq Ali sums it up well, “the extreme centre” privatisations, the marketisation of everything, Neo-Liberal cheap labour, choice only if you can pay such as European football on TV which used to be on free view twice a week but now you have to pay to view or you don’t see it!
   Cameron & Osborne with austerity are doing extreme things but presents it in moderate language as the centre ground both putting the CON in CONservative!
   Then we have the infantile propaganda of the Right Wing media -tell a big enough lie often enough and some will belive it but we must refer people back to policies and explain the Tories and the Right Wing do what they do to try to keep power with the rich and powerful.
   Yes all of us who supported Jeremy have got to help by taking on the Tories intellectually.
   We all need to counter their propaganda!

   I sense a here also deep unease about Europe and indeed in the context of TTIP and TAFTA and similar and the American, (IMF,) continuing globalization agenda, Ii share it.

   I think that we probably need to quit Europe as soon a possible and get back some control over our own destiny.

   Should stay in EC but rather than democratic socialism in one country should fight for reforms to make life better for all those who have to sell their labour to live in the EC as we are in the third stage of capitalism- globalisation. We need to kick Neo-Liberalism out of the EC and build EC wide and global solidarity.

   God the right wing media are being particularly vicious to Jeremy and John and it has only been 3 days which shows they are worried as they do their best on behalf of keeping power with the rich and powerful and their apologists -the Tories!
   Labour needs a media instant response unit which not only defends but goes on the attack – and what a cheek the Tories and right wing media have on attacking them on Northern Ireland when by talking to Sinn Fein etc. they were the original trailblazers for peace in N.Ireland!
   Concerning not singing the National Anthem at the Battle of Britain 75th Anniversary Event as a republican I would have done the same – but Jeremy was there to show his respect to those brave citizens who fought and lost their lives FIGHTING FACISM so the British people would be free and no-one could bully us all as free citizens into doing, singing or saying what we don’t believe in, and this freedom to think and act in accordance with our conscience (without right wing bullying) is a fundamental freedom that Labour will fight for, for all citizens as I think members of the International Brigade in Spain used to say THE PRICE OF FREEDOM IS ETERNAL VIGILANCE! Yours in freedom, international solidarity and in celebration of the 2WW VICTORY OVER FACISM!
